Master of Science in Journalism - broadcast concentration; part-time program. Class president of 2014 Journalism class. Course work included television reporting, video storytelling, multi-platform storytelling and design, and Samuel G. Freedman’s book writing seminar. I wrote a book proposal for “One and the Other: Loving both God and Men.” This is the story about how my Christian faith brought me to reconcile with my alcoholic father but hindered me from forgiving myself for being gay in a Christian community. I also wrote a 4,200-word Master's project profiling formerly homeless senior citizens living in single room occupancy (SRO) units around New York City and the effects of Section 8 voucher loss on nonprofits running those units.

I line producer two hours of the 6AM-10AM show, FOX Weather Sunrise, Monday - Friday. I fill in as a senior producer when needed.
WCCO-TV (CBS Corp.) - News Producer, Minneapolis, MN - DMA Market 15 - Jan. 2017 - Sept. 2021
I produced the 6PM show on Saturdays and the 5:30PM show on Sundays. During the week I produced the noon show twice - and filled in on the 6 and 9AM shows and 12, 5, 6, and 10PM shows as needed. When I wasn’t producing a show I’d field producing a package or writing for other producers.

I produced the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. news on Saturday and Sunday nights. I also filed in on the noon, 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m. newscasts during the week. I decided what was in the show, wrote scripts, edited all my video, delegated reporters and videographers, and set the rundown of the newscasts. I also wrote stories for the web and went out to shoot video when it was needed.
